I figured I would go crazy being a stay-at-home-mother, having only known the fast paced life and satisfaction of gainful employment. I wondered if I would even be a good mother, knowing my patience had been worn out by so many years of customer service.
When he leaves for his six weeks of work we say goodbye in the mornings, knowing that we’ve slept with the intention of leaving before the day has begun.

I have a new profound respect for the plight of the single working mother who fights seemingly never ending battles.
